    Safety and Training As a requirement of their positions at Palmetto Breeze, our staff undergo regular training. Some of the courses we offer our staff are: First Aid / CPR System Security Customer Service Blood-borne Pathogens PASS Accidents and incidents are investigated to allow for proper training and re-training as required. We also conduct monthly safety meetings to discuss operating issues that have arisen along with any accidents and safety issues. Palmetto Breeze is dedicated to safety, and because of this dedication, we make it a part of our daily activities. Every level of our staff make safety their main priority above all else. Our safety & training program has been recognized for its excellence by the South Carolina Department of Transportation. As part of our general safety, all of our staff has access to high-visibility vests to wear in the event they are involved in an emergency situation. Our MCI coach buses are equipped with an on-vehicle camera system that allows us to monitor most areas of the bus. Palmetto Breeze throughly investigates all accidents, incidents, and passenger complaints. New in 2023, our Breeze Trolleys have been equipped with "annunciators" that make an announcement when they are turning to alert pedestrians and bicyclists in the vicinity to be careful. In 2023 we installed a new mirror in our yard at our facility for our drivers to use as they depart the lot to ensure their rear lights are in proper working order.
