Research has shown that it takes the first 3 days of a vacation to mentally transition into "vacation mode". My medical research has additionally discovered that this time is shortened to 1/2 hour if the vacationer experiences this initial time on the water...preferably salt water.

A ferry ride to Daufuskie is therefore not a burden but a catalyst to true vacation mode (TVM).
