1. How do I know what bus to take?

All of our commuter route buses are equipped with destination signs that allow you know where each bus is headed.

Our staff will also aid you in any way that we can. If you have a question about which bus to get on, you can ask one of our drivers, an onsite supervisor, or give our dispatcher a call at (843) 757-5782.

2. What time does the bus come?

We have routes that start at 4:30 am. For more details on the route schedules you can view our schedule or call our office at (843) 757-5782.

3. Are you hiring?

Palmetto Breeze accepts all applications. An application is available online, by calling our office at (843) 757-5782, or by visiting any One Stop Career Center near you.

4. Are you the S.C. Department of Transportation?

No, we are not a part of the SCDOT.

5. How much does it cost to ride the bus?

Fares vary by route. Commuter route fares vary from a local fee of $1 to $3.25. Demand response fare varies from $6 to $12. Please view our fares to find out more about fares in your areas. If you need more assistance, please call our office at (843) 757-5782.

6. Do you offer discounted rates?

We do offer discounted rates. We offer discounted fares for our elderly and disabled passengers. An application is necessary to be eligible for a discounted rate.

7. How can I purchase tickets?

Tickets are sold through our main office. You can stop by our facility in Bluffton or talk to an on-site supervisor about purchasing tickets.

Ticket prices vary by route. Please view our fares, or call our office at (843) 757-5782 for more information.

Allendale and Bamberg tickets can be purchased by contacting the Mobility Manager in Allendale at (803) 584-3470 or Bamberg at (803) 587-5610.

Please ask your employer about programs they may offer for Palmetto Breeze tickets. Some employers provide free or discounted tickets.

8. Are you the Department of Motor Vehicles?

No, you can contact the DMV in your area on their website.

9. Do you transport passengers to Savannah?

We are unable to transport passengers to Savannah at this time.
